Maria is a company photographer and has been photographing weddings as the primary photographer since 2008 she was a second photographer in 2007.
Maria’s photography strengths lie in her easy going attitude and her ability to blend in and photograph events as they happen. Not of course to be overshadowed by her wonderful eye for details.
Maria is light hearted and fun, a little bit retro, little bit now. She tried out for American Idol – didn’t get too far. She likes the color pink, wait teal, no kelly green, uh PINK. Maria has perfect pitch, but is too shy to sing for you most of the time, we think she must need a stage and audience. We like to make fun of her phobia of saliva. Don’t try to drink off her cup… it’s really that funny! She has traveled her entire life, but lived in the same house in small town South Dakota for 18 years. Maria is a sucker for chick flicks and oddly enough has two middle names. She was the best cashier Wal-Mart ever had. She can run an 8 and one half minute mile. On a good day she’ll take a tall iced caramel machiatto no whip, On a bad day a grande caramel frappachino with whip.
Maria is based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota but her photography has allowed her to shoot in many places including Washington DC, Minnesota, Rhode Island and Jamaica. She loves to travel and is available locally and nationwide. In 2009 she welcome her daughter Rebecca into the world. She’s a cutie.
